Zoran Manojlovic: Razak Adegbite & Ibukun Akinfenwa have left an indelible mark in Angolan football history
Primeiro de Agosto headcoach Zoran Manojlovic has said Ibukun Akinfenwa, Razak Adegbite and their team mates will never be forgotten in Angolan football history for their roles in their comeback win against ZESCO United on Friday.
After ZESCO United drew the first blood in the 67th minutes through John Ching’andu and it looked certain that the Zambian champions were taking the maximum points, Geraldo and Bobo Ungenda scored in the 90 and 99th minutes to hand the visitors the win on Friday at the Estádio da Cidadela in Luanda.
Impressed by his team’s doggedness and fighting spirit, Zoran Manojlovic is certain that his boys have made history and achived a feat that wil forever be remembered in Angolan football history.

“It is historical that we were trailing even after 90 minutes and we managed to come from behind and win the game in the last 5 minutes.”
Agosto are second on 5 points, five points behind Etoile de Sahel, Mbabane Swallows have 4 points while ZESCO United have just 2 points.
Agosto will hope for good results in their last two games against Etoile du Sahel in Tunisia and Swallows in Angola on 18th and 28th of August respectively to stand a chance of making it to the quarterfinals.
