Irving suffers knee sprain in Celtics-Clippers clash
Boston Celtics star Kyrie Irving was ruled out of Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers with a right knee sprain.
Irving left the matchup in the first half and did not return, the Celtics confirmed.
NBA All-Star Irving was clearly favouring his leg early on in the game, but tried to play through it.
Ultimately, the Celtics decided to put an end to his night as Boston led 74-53 going into half-time.

Irving posted 14 points and two assists in the first half at home to the Clippers.
