It was a big night for Nigerian players in the NBA as the season pauses for All-StarStar weekend. Josh Okogie showed the league how James Harden’s step-back three could be stopped with a monstrous block on the reigning MVP.

Antetokounmpo rallied the Bucks from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit, recorded his fifth triple-double of the season and led Milwaukee past Indiana 106-97. He finished with 33 points, 19 rebounds, and 11 assists to keep the Bucks atop the Eastern Conference heading into the All-Star break.
It would have been two Nigerian representing at the 2019Â All-Star but for season injury to Victor Oladipo only Giannis Antetokoumpo will be representing Nigeria’s colour as the league stars gathered in Charlotte this weekend.
