Daniel Amokachi set to land top NFF role
Former Super Eagles coach and player Daniel ‘The Bull’ Amokachi has been handed a top role by the Nigeria Football Federation.
According to the reports making the round the Nigeria Football Federation has contacted Daniel Amokachi to replace Bitrus Bewarang as the technical director of the Federation.
Daniel Amokachi who was part of the Tunisia 1994 winning squad as a player and 2013 winning squad and assistant coach will replace Bitrus Bewarang whose two years contract ended this year.
“Amokachi was approached for the post earlier this year, but was later told to hold on,” as quoted by ScoreNigeria.
Kaduna born 46-year-old former Everton player played a total of 44 games for the Super Eagles scoring 13 goals in the process.
