Norwich 2 Chelsea 3: Academy boys reward Lampard’s faith with his first Premier League win
Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount scored the goals as Chelsea beat Norwich City 3-2 at Carrow Road in the Premier League early kickoff on Saturday.
Tammy Abraham opened the scoring when fired home a perfect Ceaser Azpilicueta’s cross just few seconds after the goal Norwich pegged Chelsea back through Todd Cantwell.
Another academy product, Mason Mount created space for himself to fire Chelsea ahead in the 17th minute but again Norwich equalised through Pukki who was the provider of Norwich first goal.
For his goal Teemu Pukki joined Pavel Pogrebnyak as the only players with five goals in their first three Premier league games.
Tammy Abraham restored Chelsea lead in the second half with a brilliant goal. Tammy now the first Englishman to score a Premier League brace for Chelsea since Lampard in 2012.
