VIDEO: Iheanacho’s goal condemns Everton to an unwanted EPL record
Kelechi Iheanacho ended on the losing side at the Goodison Park on Wednesday but his goal for Leciester City condemned Everton to an unwanted Premier League record.
The Premier League clash between Everton and Leciester City featured three Super Eagles stars namely Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Ihenacho and Alex Iwobi.
It was Alex Iwobi’s Everton who won the game 2-1 with WIlfred Ndidi gifting away a soft penalty for the home side’s second goal.
But his country-man, Kelechi Iheanacho who subbed on in the second half reduced the deficit but his goal was not enough to help his side get the result they wanted.

The strike which was Kelechi Ihenacho’s fourth in the Premier League this season was also the goal which helped Everton set an unwanted record by becoming first team to concede 2,500 top flight home goals in the league.
