Michael Obafemi scores late equaliser against Man Utd as top race hots up

Michael Obafemi came off the bench to score a 96 minutes equaliser for Southampton against Manchester United at Old Trafford to leave the host dreaming.

A win for Manchester United would have taken the inform Ole Gunner Solskjaer men to the third position and further helped their top four ambitions but that was not meant to be.

The visitors took the lead though Stuart Armstrong in the 12th minutes of the game but Manchester United responded with goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

The game was ending just exactly the way the home team wanted it but a 96th minutes goal from Michael Obafemi stopped United from taking all the points.

With just one point from the game, Manchester United remained 5th on the log with just three games.

After 35 games, Chelsea have 60th points, Leicester and Manchester United have 59th but The Foxes with better goal difference are currently 4th on the log.

Chelsea host relegated Norwich City tomorrow, a trio champions Liverpool and their last game would be against Wolverhampton Wanderers at home.

Leicester City will host Sheffield United, travel to Tottenham and play their last game against Manchester United at the King’s Power Stadium.

While Manchester United will travel to Place, host West Ham United and then play Leicester City in their last game.

Who will join Liverpool and Manchester City in the top four?
