Osimhen fires agent as he closes in on Napoli move

Victor Osimhen has reportedly fired his in-law agent Jean-Gérard Benoît Czajka as he pushes for a move to Napoli.

The Nigerian who had been linked with a move to Napoli, the Coppa Italia champions had to fire his manager in other for the deal to be finalized.

According reports in Italy, Victor Osimhen fired his agent Jean-Gérard Benoît Czajka who was delaying the deal because of selfish interest.

Footballitalia, said the Lille striker decided to leave his in-law because he was negotiating extra bonuses for himself.

The deal is said to now be close to completion after Victor Osimhen picked a new intermediary.

Victor Osimhen will reportedly undergo his medicals on Thursday.

While L’Equipe claimed that final negotiations are taking place today and tomorrow in Sardinia to secure the deal, worth in the region of €81m.

Popular Italian journalist Di Marzio said the fee will be around €60m plus bonuses.

He said the agreement already exists and the last meeting is just to formalize and close the deal.
