Super Eagles opponents for October friendlies confirmed
The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed the opponents that the Super Eagles of Nigeria would face during the October friendly.
Back in July, Mr. Melvin Amaju Pinnick in an Instagram interview on the NFF official account confirmed that two big teams were willing to engage the Eagles in friendly games.
“The arrangement is 70% confirmed,” said Pinnick.
“We hope to make use of the FIFA windows in both September and October.
“The friendlies could be played in Paris or Portugal and we have two big countries one African and South American.
‘We want to get everything done before we inform the public but we are ensuring that the Super Eagles play two friendlies.”
The plans now look solid as the two teams has now been confirmed.
Nigeria will battle the Elephant of Cote D’Ivore and then play the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in another.
On Wednesday the Federation of Tunisia Football confirmed the friendly against Nigeria.
This means Nigeria will battle Ivory Coast on the 9th of October before filling up against Tunisia on the 13th of the same month.
