Emueje Ogbiagbevha sets Nigerian & African records with 10 goals in 2020 UEFA Women’s Champions League
Nigerian striker Emueje Ogbiagbevha has set great records after her heroics with Minsk at the 2019/2020 UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The 30-year-old who finished the 2019/20 season scoring 10 goals finished as joint too scorer alongside Arsenal’s Vivianne Miedema and BreiĂ°ablik’s Berglind Björg ĂžorvaldsdĂłttir.
Emueje Ogbiagbevha for her feat became just the only African women to win the UEFA Champions League top scorer award.
Just last year, Asisat Oshoala also became the only Nigerian and player to score in a Women’s UEFA Champions League final in Barcelona 4-1 loss to Lyon.
