VIDEO: Simy third goal of the season not enough as Crotone lose 2-1 to Atalanta

Super Eagles striker Simy Nwankwo scored his third goal of the season in Crotone’s 2-1 home loss to Atalanta in a Serie A game on Saturday.

Simy Nwankwo who already has a goal against Juventus, added Atalanta to the top teams he has scored a Serie A goal against.

The visitors took the lead through Luis Muriel who should have scored a goal before his 26th minute strike. The Columbian made it two in the 38th minute.

And two minute after Atalanta’s second goal, Simy Nwankwo scored for Crotone to reduce the tally to one.

It was his third goal of the season but it wasn’t enough as Gian Piero Gasperini side secured all the available points at the Stadio Ezio Scida
