Osimhen doubtful for Napoli’s clash with AC Milan

Napoli, on Saturday, conducted their final training session at the San Paolo stadium in preparations for their encounter against against Milan on Sunday.

With the latest update, Victor Osimhen is a huge doubt for the clash as he continues personalized training.

The striker pulled out Nigeria’s squad after picking up a shoulder injury in their 4-4 draw with Sierra Leone in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

According to the training report, the 21-year-old proceeded with therapies before going into the gym for workouts.

“The team started the session with a warm-up phase. Then exercises aimed at speed. Below is a match on a small pitch and tactical work. Closing with game situations from set pieces,” the club’s official website stated.

“Therapy and gym work for Osimhen.”

The Azzurri play host to table-leaders Milan in the matchday 8 of the Serie A scheduled for 8:45pm [GMT+1].
