Zaidu Sanusi on target in Porto 7-goal thriller win against Tondela
Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi continue his fine form with a goal in Porto 4-3 win against Tondela on Saturday.
Sanusi who put in a great shift in Porto goalless draw against Manchester City as the Portuguese outfit secured a place in Champions League second round played well on Saturday.
He was on the pitch for the entire duration of the game as 10-man Porto secure all maximum points at the Dragão.
Sanusi Zaidu opened the scoring but the visitors responded with goals Mario Gonzalez Rafael Barbosa.
Moussa Marega restored parity for Porto before half time break. Three minutes after restart, Moussaka Marega scored his brace to give Porto the lead again.
Mehdi Taremi scored to give Porto a two-goal cushing but Mario Gonzalez reduced the deficit for Tondela.
With the scored line at 4-3 and 17 minutes to go after Mario Gonzalez goal, both teams gave it their all and it was looking like Tondela would get a point.
But Sanusi Zaidu and his teammates resisted all of Tondela effort even when they were reduced to 10-man after Mateus Uribe red card in the 90th minute.
Sanusi goal was his first league for FC Porto. He has now scored for the Portuguese giants in the Champions League and in the League.
