Redknapp: Arsenal a team full of kidders
Jamie Redknapp has labelled Arsenal players ‘kidders’ after watching The Gunners gunned down by The Citizens in a Carabao quarter-final game on Tuesday.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City smashed Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium to march into the last four.
And Jamie Redknapp came to the defence of Arsenal underfire boss Mikel Arteta by saying the problem with the club is not entirely the manager’s.
The SkySport pundit argued that even with a new coach players like David Luiz, Messi Ozil Granit Xhaka would still let the team down.
Redknapp stressed that Arsenal who are four points off the relegation zone in the Premier League have only 3-4 good players while the rest are kidders.
“There’s only three or four players you could trust as a new manager coming in,” said Redknapp.
“There’s too many of them that will let you down. It’s a team full of kidders.
“If you get rid of the manager, who comes in? Who is out there?”
