Iheanacho misses penalty as Ndidi rested in Leicester draw at Palace
Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanachomissed the chance to score a goal after missing from the 12-yard in Leicester City 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on Monday.
The Nigerian was preferred over Jamie Vardy after Brendan Rodgers rested the English striker.
As early as in the 19th minute of the game, Kelechi Iheanacho would have rewarded the faith his gaffer had in him by putting The Foxes up.
But he fluffed his lines allowing Vicente Guaita to save this penalty from the 12-yard.
At half time, it remained goalless, but Wilfred Zaha opened the scoring for the hosts in the 58 minute.
Havey Barnes equalised for Leicester City with a great finish to help The Foxes leave Selhurst Park with a point.
Kelechi Iheanacho was subbed off in the 73rd minute for Demarai Gray.
His compatriot, Wilfred Ndidi who just returned from injury and has been in top form was rested for this game.
If not for miss of the penalty Leicester could have won the game but thanks for the draw
