Sadauki emerges as first NPFL casualty, demoted to Assistant coach
Replaced by Baldwin Bazuaye
Katsina United have opted to demote coach Bishir Sadauki back to being assistant coach after their rocky start to the season. They have won twice, lost three times and drawn once in the NPFL this season, and are winless in their last three games.
Sadauki, who replaced Henry Makinwa as coach of the team in October 2020 after being his assistant has now been asked to return to his assistant coach post, making him the first managerial casualty of the NPFL 2020/21 season. He has been replaced by former Katsina United manager and Nigerian International, Baldwin Bazuaye. The 52 year old former Lobi Stars and Bendel Insurance manager comes in with the aim of steadying the ship and taking the club to contest for one of the continental places at least. His first task is to navigate a way past Enyimba at their Aba home.
