Super Falcons set to face world’s best side in invitational tourney

Nigeria’s women national team, the Super Falcons will do battle with world champions, the United States of America in an invitational tournament scheduled for June 8-17 at the Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas ahead of the 2022 AWCON qualifiers.

The Super Falcons, who excelled at the Turkish Women’s Cup, the last invitational tournament they partook in will also face European side Portugal and Jamaica in the invitational tournament to be hosted by the US Women’s National Team. The Nigerian side and their head coach, Randy Waldron would relish the opportunity to rub shoulders with the best team in women’s football come June.
