David Okereke’s goal hands Venezia first win vs Bologna since 1947

Nigerian striker David Okereke scored the only goal as Venezia secured a 1-0 win at Bologna in a Serie A game played on Sunday.

Venezia made it two from the last two games, adding the win against Bologna to the win they secured against Roma last week.

And just as he did last week against Jose Mourinho tutored Roma, David Okereke was on target again scoring in back-to-back games.

His goal came in the 61st minute of the game and 18 minute later he was subbed off.

This was the ‘Lagoonal Ones’ first victory over the opposition since 1947.

David Okereke has scored four goals in twelve serie A games.
