Why Janny Sikazwe ended Mali-Tunisia AFCON clash abruptly

The reason behind the dramatic ending to the Africa Cup of Nations clash between Tunisia and Mali by Janny Sikazwe as been revealed.

Recall the Zambian refree Janny Sikazwe was at the center of spotlight during AFCON group E clash between Tunisia and Mali.

Janny Sikazwe put all football lovers all over the world into serious confusion when he ended the tie twice before the 90th minute clash.

The center referee ended the match at 85 minute mark on the first occasion and ended it in the 89 minute mark on the second occasion.

Decisions that put Tunisian bench into disarray as they protested the decision.

There were two stops for VAR checks, water break, so, they felt they should get atleast three minutes additional time.

No additional time was given and the referee didn’t even wait for the game to get to the 90th minute strike.

Forty five minutes after the abruptly ending of the match, the teams were asked to come back to the field to finish the match with a new center referee.

Mali turned up but Tunisia refused to turn up.

According to reports from Cameroon, Janny Sikazwe was reportedly rushed to the hospital for treatment as he suffered sunstroke.
