NBA Recap: Suns condemn Nets to fifth consecutive defeat
Antetokounmpo triple-double carries Bucks to victory
The Phoenix Suns defeated the Brooklyn Nets 121-111 to pick up their 11th consecutive win and condemn the Nets to a fifth successive defeat in the NBA this season.
Devin Booker led the scoring for the Suns with 35 points, and Chris Paul tallied 20 points and 14 assists in the game. Miles Bridges also contributed 27 points for the Suns. Kyrie Irving recorded 26 points and James Harden recorded 22 points for the Nets.
Despite being without Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Drayton Green, the Golden State Warriors defeated the San Antonio Spurs 124-120. Jordan Poole led the scoring with 31 points, and Damion Lee contributed 21 points. Rookie Jonathan Kuminga contributed 19 points for the Warriors, as well.
The Chicago Bulls defeated the Orlando Magic 126-115 in their NBA clash. DeMar DeRozan led the scoring with 29 points and 10 rebounds, and Zach LaVine contributed 26 points for the Chicago Bulls.
The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Denver Nuggets 130-115 in their clash on Tuesday. Karl-Anthony Towns led the scoring for the Timberwolves with 24 points and 10 rebounds in the game.
The Toronto Raptors defeated the Miami Heat 110-106. Gary Trent Jr led the scoring in the game with 33 points, as Fred VanVleet tallied 21 points and Precious Achiuwa contributed 12 points.
The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Washington Wizards 112-98 thanks to a triple-double from the Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo tallied 33 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists for the Bucks in the game.
Brandon Ingram led the New Orleans Pelicans to a 111-101 win over the Detroit Pistons in their NBA clash. Ingram recorded 26 points for the Pelicans, and Jonas Valanciunas contributed 13 points and 13 rebounds in the game.
