Saudi Prince, Al-Waleed Bin Talal, Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss want to buy Chelsea?

A few hours after Roman Abrahamovic reportedly put Chelsea Football Club up for sale, the club has not been short of different suitors.

Two names who are leading candidates to buy the clubs are Saudi Prince, Al-Waleed Bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, and Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss.

Both have reportedly indicated interest or had been approached by the club.

According to Al Jazira Sports News, Saudi Prince, Al-Waleed Bin Talal bin Abdulaziz has expressed interest in the possibility of buying Roman Abramovich’s Chelsea in the coming days. He has the desire of owning a football club in Europe.

And according to multiple reports, Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss is considering buying Chelsea as he revealed in an interview to @Blickch on Tuesday.

Roman Abramovich has reportedly valued Chelsea at £4bn but it’s understood he can only expect to receive bids in the region of £2bn.

The Russian is afraid he might lose his assets in the UK due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and he is looking to sell Chelsea against his wish to avoid his asset being frozen.

Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003 for £140 million and has guided the club to become one of the top Football Clubs in the world winning several titles.

During his time Chelsea won five Premier League titles, five FA Cups, three League Cups, two Champions League titles, two Europa League, one Super Cup, and one Club World Cup.
