‘I can’t wait to represent my country Nigeria’ – Ademola Lookman

New invitee Ademola Lookman is buzzing ahead of his first game for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Leicester City attacker who recently completed the switch of his allegiance from England to Nigeria has reacted to his first call up.

Yesterday, Nigeria’s Technical Adviser, Austine Eguavone released a provisional list of players to play Nigeria’s double games against Ghana and the Everton man was on the list.

And Ademola Lookman has reacted to this development with great excitement.

“And so it begins 🦅 my first call up,” wrote Lookman on his official Twitter page.

“And can’t wait to represent my country. See you soon Naija 😍🇳🇬 @NGSuperEagles.”

Ademola Lookman will be looking to play in the World Cup play-off games between Nigeria and Ghana this March.

The first leg will be played in Cape Coast Sports Stadium from 7.30 pm on Friday 25th March, with the reverse leg set for the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday, 29th March from 6 pm.
