AKGL22: Uyo Zone Week Three Preview
The first installment of week three matches of the Akwa Ibom state Grassroots League will hold today Friday 18th March 2022 at the University of Uyo Mini stadium in Akwa Ibom.
By 9am , New Flame Academy and Pillars Investors lock horns in search of redemption. 7th Vs 8th, both teams will fancy their chances of getting their first win of the season.
Nichin Football Academy vs Edak Fc will follow by 11am. 6th Vs 5th, Edak Fc will look to build on last week’s win but against a Nichin Academy still searching for it’s first win of the season, a very unpredictable tie awaits.
Eagle Eyes Academy Vs Fullife Football Academy will do battle by 1pm. 2nd Vs 1st, a top of the table clash involving two of the early favourites to progress from the Uyo Zone. With both sides setup to attack , fans will look forward to a highly entertaining game.
The last game of the day will pitch Jimbo international Fc against Ikoya Fc by 3pm. 3rd Vs 4th, Jimbo are yet to lose a game this season and are yet to concede a goal too. Against an Ikoya Fc side who smashed Pillars Investors 7-0 in week two, Jimbo International will face a daunting task of curtailing the Onslaught from Joint top scorer Samuel Okure and his teammates if they must maintain their impressive Start to the season.
Week three matches involving the Onna zone teams will take place on Monday 21st March 2022 at the Onna Township stadium.
