Spalleti not satisfied with Osimhen display against Igor

Despite assisting and scoring the Italian felt Victor could have done more

Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti has said Victor Osimhen could have done better in Napoli’s 2-3 loss to Fiorentina in a Serie A game played on Sunday.

The Nigerian striker assisted and scored a goal as Napoli’s title push suffered a huge setback at the Maradona Stadium,

But despite Victor Osimhen contributing to both goals scored by the home team, his manager seemed unsatisfied and explained the reason behind it.

“Osimhen wasn’t in the best shape today, as he skipped a couple of training sessions.

“He did well, but could’ve done better in these physical duels with Igor,” Spalletti told DAZN.

The Brazilian defender Igor Julio seemed to get the better of Victor Osimhen in the first half but the Nigerian seemed to outduel him in the second half.
