REVEALED: The huge signing bonus Real Madrid paid Sahr Senesie to sign Antonio Rüdiger
Real Madrid have reportedly paid a huge sum to sign Antonio Rüdiger who will become a free agent at the end of this season.
Earlier today it was reported that Antonio Rüdiger will join the La Liga champions on a four-year deal once his current contract with Chelsea expires this June.
The Germain will reportedly receive £315,000 a week on his new Real Madrid deal, a significant increase on his current £100,000 a week contract at Chelsea.
Real Madrid have reportedly slapped a £340M release clause on the German defender who turned 29 this March.
The issues with the contract renewal between Chelsea and Antonio Rüdiger who is represented by his brother Sahr Senesie are properly documented.
Antonio Rüdiger who claimed to be open to staying at Chelsea turned down the club’s latest deal which was said to be £230,000 a week.
The German and his brother reportedly asked Chelsea to pay them a signing bonus a request Chelsea rejected.
But Real Madrid who were desperate to fence off competitions from clubs like Juventus, Pari Saint-Germain, Barcelona, and Manchester United agreed to the signing fee demand.
According to Patrick Berger the Chief Reporter of Sport1 a German free-to-air television channel, Real Madrid paid
€35m (£29m) signing on bonus to sign the former Roma defender.
Antonio Rüdiger becomes the third Chelsea player after Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard to join Real Madrid in the last four years.
