Olisa Ndah closes in on a sensational Nest Of Champions return.

Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah is 90 minutes away from a sensational return to his former fortress the Godswill Akpabio International stadium, Uyo Nigeria venue for the 2022 CAF Confederation Cup final .

The Godswill Akpabio international stadium (Nickname: Nest of Champions)  is the home ground of Nigeria Professional football league champions Akwa United Fc from where Olisa Ndah made the switch to South African giants Orlando Pirates .

Less than a year later,  Orlando Pirates lead courtesy of 2-0 first leg win against Libya’s Al Ahli Tripoli . The second leg holds today at the home of the Bucs with the winner progressing to the final game  in Uyo, Nigeria on 20 May, 2022.

In the first leg, played in Benghazi, the Buccaneers managed to secure a two-goal cushion thanks to strikes by Innocent Maela and Goodman Mosele. The goals handed Pirates a vital 2-0 win away over Al Ahli.

 

Olisa Ndah was instrumental to Akwa United Fc Winning the NPFL title in August 2021 and will be backed by the home crowd to yet another title triumph at the Godswill Akpabio international stadium, Uyo.

 

In the other Semi Final, TP Mazembe hold a 1-0 aggregate lead over Morocco’s RSB Berkane ahead of today’s second leg .
