Dallas Mavericks refuse to get swept, force Game 5 in Western Conference Finals

Dallas Mavericks escaped being swept in the Western Conference Finals by the Golden State Warriors after a 119-109 win in a much-improved performance in front of their own fans in Dallas.

After dire performances in Games 1, 2 and 3 from their team, the Dallas Mavericks finally were able to get their acts right and deliver a rousing performance in Game 4 of the series.

The Mavericks started the first half strongly and sped off to a 62-47 lead at half-time. They continued their dominance on the third quarter as they led 99-70 by the end of the quarter. The Warriors won the fourth quarter 39-20 but it was not enough to secure a victory in the game.

It was an incredible team effort from the Dallas Mavericks that got them the win, with six different players reaching double figures for points in the game. Luka Doncic led the scoring with 30 points and 14 rebounds, Dorian Finney-Smith scored 23 points, Reggie Bullock scored 18 points, and Jalen Brunson scored 15.

For the Warriors, Steph Curry scored 20 points and Jonathan Kuminga scored 17 points as their offense was stifled by the Mavericks.

Both sides will now return to San Francisco for Game 5 at the Chase Center.
