2022 Commonwealth games: Adenike Adijat gets Team Nigeria first Gold medal

Team Nigeria has gotten it’s first Gold medal of the 2022 Commonwealth games through Weightlifter Olarinoye Adenike Adijat.

Olarinoye on Saturday evening recorded 92kg in the 55kg women’s snatch event in Weightlifting at the ongoing Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth games to hand Nigeria it’s first Gold medal of the games.

Olarinoye was one of Nigeria’s Gold medal hopefuls and has lived up to her pre game rating with a Gold medal finish.
