Osimhen ruled out of Algeria friendly as Napoli confirm his hamstring injury

Napoli have confirmed that Victor Osimhen is has injured hamstring and will be out for a while.

The Nigerian striker picked up the injury when the Italian giants destroyed Liverpool in a champions league game on Wednesday.

Victor Osimhen was too much to handle for the visitors who were totally destroyed in the first half.

Osimhen won and missed a penalty, he created goal scoring chances for his teammates.

Before he was substituted in the 40th due to injury Napoli were already two goals up and confident.

Despite walking out of the pitch by himself, the injury has been confirm as a Grade 2 hamstring.

The estimated time of his absence is said to be up to 4 weeks but expect Victor Osimhen to be back before the estimated time.

This means he will miss Nigeria’s friendly with Algeria billed for September 27.
