Onuachu ends 427 minutes goal drought to help Genk win at Oostende

Paul Onuachu has finally scored his first goal of the season after five months (a run of seven games) without finding the back of the net.

The 28-year-old striker who was the best striker in the Belgian league a few seasons back, scoring goals for fun had been struggling.

In fact, he has lost his starting place and now only plays a bit part for Genk.

But luck finally smiled at him on Saturday, when he scored the equaliser for Genk in the first half as he was given a rare start.

Fraser Hornby had scored the for Oostende in the third minute of the game before Paul Onuachu scored the equaliser in the 25th minute.

Daniel Munoz scored the winning goal in the 88th minute as Genk and Paul Onuachu walked out of the
Diaz Arena with all three points.

Paul Onuachu who was on the pitch the entire time will be hoping for more starts and goals as the season progresses.
