Onuachu scores his 4th goal in 3 games to take Genk to Jupiler Pro League summit
Paul Onuachu scored his fourth goal in three league games to help 10-man Genk beat Oud-Heverlee Leuven 1-0 and go to the top of the Jupiler Pro League summit on Saturday.
The Nigerian striker endured a run of seven games without finding the back of the net until his goal against Oostende early in the month.
No longer looking back as he scored in his third consecutive game to increase his tally to four in three games and nine games in total.
Paul Onuachu’s fine finish in the 17th minute of the game at King Power at Den Dreef was all that the visitors needed to take all three points that take them to the top of the league.
The win, however, didn’t come easy as Genk had to play for 47 minutes one man less after Angelo Preciado was given his marching orders in the 43rd minute.
Paul Onuachu was on the pitch for 76th minutes before he was subbed off for Tanzania’s Mbwana Ally Samatta.
