The Nigerian scores his 5th league goal

Ademola Lookman scored his 5th league goal of the season at the Stadio Carlo Castellani to help Atalanta secure a 2-0 win against Tyronne Ebuehi’s Empoli.

After their 2-0 defeat against Lazio last weekend, Atalanta traveled to Empoli looking to bounce back and they did just that.

From the start of the game, the visitors led by Ademola Lookman were in the forefront and their pressure paid off when Ademola Lookman’s deflected shot was scored by Hans Hateboer.

Ademola Lookman continued to pile pressure on Tyronne Ebuehi, and other Empoli defenders, and again he won his team a foul which he took by himself.

His attempt which was on target was blocked with hands by Mattia Destro, and a penalty was awarded to Atalanta, Teun Koopmeiners stepped up and missed.

His effort was saved by Guglielmo Vicario in goal for Empoli.

At the end of the first 45 minutes, Hans Hateboer’s strike was the only difference.

Ademola continued the second half as he ended the first half, in the 59th minute of the game he got his deserving goal.

The former Everton man cut and faked a few players in the area before scoring a beautiful goal.

Tyronne Ebuehi played the entire time as Empoli suffered a 2-0 defeat in front of their fans. The Super Eagles defender gave a good account of himself.

He looked very fit, bumped forward occasionally, linked up with his wingers, and was solid defensively.
