Golden State Warriors continued to struggle as they lost to the Miami Heat to record their fifth loss in the NBA this season. The champions have a 3-5 record this season after the 116-109 win for Miami Heat. Max Strus led the scoring with 24 points and Jimmy Butler contributed 23 points for the Heat. Steph Curry finished with a triple-double of 23 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists for the Warriors in the game.
Chicago Bulls defeated the Brooklyn Nets 108-99 in their NBA clash on Tuesday to improve to 4-4 this season. Zach LaVine led the scoring for the Bulls with 29 points and DeMar De Rozan scored 20 points in the game. Kevin Durant scored 32 points for the Nets as they lost for a sixth time in eight games.
Phoenix Suns defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-107, improving their record in the NBA this season to 6-1. Cameron Johnson led the scoring for the Suns with 29 points, and Chris Paul scored 15 points and 12 rebounds. For the Timberwolves, the duo of Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns scored 24 points apiece, with Towns also recording ten rebounds in the game.
Oklahoma City Thunder picked up a 116-108 win over the Orlando Magic to hand them their seventh defeat in eight games in the NBA this season. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the scoring for Oklahoma with 34 points, and Wendell Carter Jr scored 30 points and 12 rebounds for the Magic.
