NBA Recap: Nets, Celtics, Suns, Bucks all win

Banchero joins LeBron, makes history in Magic loss

Brooklyn Nets continued their resurgence as they defeated Charlotte Hornets 98-94 in their NBA clash on Saturday. Kevin Durant led the scoring for the Nets with 27 points and Cam Thomas scored 21 points. Terry Rozier scored 25 points for the Hornets.

Milwaukee Bucks made it nine wins from nine as they defeated Oklahoma City Thunder 108-94. Brook Lopez led the scoring for the Bucks with 25 points in the game and Jordan Nwora scored 12 points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 18 points for the Thunder.

Sacramento Kings won their game against Orlando Magic 126-123 after OT, but it was Magic phenom Paolo Banchero who took centre stage. The 19-year-old scored 33 points and 16 rebounds to become only the second teenager in NBA history to record 30+ points and 15+ rebounds in a game after LeBron James. De’Aaron Fox scored 37 points for the Kings in the game.

Atlanta Hawks needed OT to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans 124-121 in their NBA clash.  TraeYoung led the scoring with 34 points and ten assists while Dejounte Murray contributed a triple-double of 22 points, ten rebounds and 11 assists. CJ McCollum and Zion Williamson scored 29 points apiece for the Pelicans.

Boston Celtics defeated the New York Knicks 133-118 in their NBA clash on Saturday. Jaylen Brown scored 30 points in the game and Jayson Tatum contributed 26 points. Julius Randle scored 29 points for the Knicks in the game.

Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Houston Rockets 129-117 in their NBA clash to condemn them to a ninth defeat in ten games. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 25 points and Anthony Edwards contributed 19 points for the Timberwolves. Jalen Green scored 21 points for the Rockets.

Denver Nuggets defeated the San Antonio Spurs 126-101 in their NBA clash. Nah’Shon Hyland led the scoring for the Nuggets with 24 points as Nikola Jokic scored 21 points and ten assists. Keldon Johnson scored 25 points for the Spurs.

Phoenix Suns defeated Portland Trail Blazers 102-82 in their NBA clash ok Saturday. Devin Booker and Chris Paul scored 24 and 15 points, respectively, for the Suns. Jerami Grant scored 14 points for the Trail Blazers.
