Osayi-Samuel reacts to his Eagles call-up, as Fenerbahce fans revel in his invitation

New Super Eagles invitee, Bright Osayi-Samuel has reacted to his call-up to the Nigeria senior men’s national team for a friendly against Portugal.

The 24-year-old utility player who was born in Okija took to his official Twitter page to acknowledge his call-up by coach Jose Peseiro for the friendly game.

“Honored to be called up for Nigeria 🇳🇬🙏🏾,” said Osayi-Samuel on his Twitter page.

Fenerbahce fans who have grown fond of the Nigerian were also happy for him to have earned an invitation to play for Nigeria.

Bright Osayi-Samuel has become a huge fan favourite at Fenerbahce because he is a selfless and tireless worker.

He has played as the right back, left back, right wing-back, left wing-back, and a winger and practically done whatever was asked of him to let his team win.

Osayi-Bright is also playing a key role in Fenerbahce’s push for the Turkish league title this season.

Definitely Nigeria has captured a gem, one that will certainly help the team win many trophies in years to come.
