Moses Simon ends 5-game goal drought to help Nantes win a point
Moses Simon ended his 5-game goalless streak to help Nantes pick a valuable point against Ajaccio at the Stade de la Beaujoire on Sunday.
The 27-year-old attacker Moses Simon was on target as Nantes secured a 2-2 comeback draw against Ajaccio in a French Ligue game on Sunday.
All four goals were scored in the second half in a tension-soaked encounter.
The visitors scored the first goal of the game in the 57th minute through Mohamed Youcef Belaili. They scored the second goal in the 66th minute through Romain Hamouma.
Four minutes after conceding the second goal, Ludovic Blas pulled one back for Nantes.
There was still time for Nigerian attacker, Moses Simon who has played five games in all competitions without a goal to finally get one.
Simon Moses scored in the 89 minutes to complete Nantes’ 2-2 comeback.
In thirteen league games, Moses Simon has scored five goals and assisted two goals.
Moses Simon will now head into the break full of confidence as Nigeria prepare to face Portugal in a friendly game this Thursday.
