Qatar 2022: Senegal play Qatar as Africa go again in search of first win

Andre Ayew scored the first goal by an African nation in Ghana’s 3-2 defeat to Portugal on Thursday, but Africa is still in search of her first win.

Today, Senegal play against hosts, Qatar as they look to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat in the first Group game and book the first African win.

At the conclusion of the first-round games in Qatar, three African nations were beaten, and two secured a goalless draw.
