Meet Andrew Junior Awusi the prodigy eligible for Nigeria, and three other nations as he signs his first professional contract
Andrew Junior Awusi has put pen to paper to sign his first professional contract for German Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.
Awusi, 16, was born on the 17th of January 2006 in Madrid Spain to a Nigerian father and an Equatorial Guinea mother.
He is a left-winger and center-forward who has played for the youth ranks of German club Eintracht Frankfurt since 2017 and he now signs his first professional contract.
Awusi is just following in the footstep of Nigeria and African legend, Austin Okocha who made name for himself while playing for the German outfit.
This season, he played with the Eintracht Frankfurt U17 team (11 matches. 7 goals, 9 assists) and also played at the UEFA Youth League (5 matches, 1 goal) with the Eintracht Frankfurt U19 team.
He has lived in Spain until 2015 and since then in Germany, so he is eligible to represent Spain, Germany, Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
