Godspower Aniefiok joins Tunisian top-flight club Espoir Sportif de Hamman-Sousse
Towering Nigerian Midfielder Godspower Aniefiok has joined Tunisian top flight side Esportif Hamman de Sousse SportsRation reports.
The Tunisian Ligue One club have since unveiled the Midfielder who played the 2021/2022 season in the Nigeria Professional Football League for Kano Pillars FC.
Godspower joins the Hamman-Sousse based outfit ahead of the second stanza of the 2022/2023 Tunisian Ligue One season.
Espoir Sportif de Hamman-Sousse are currently placed 6th in Group A after taking 7 points from 7 games in the first stanza, a form Head Coach Naoufel Chebil will look to turn around with the addition of Godspower Aniefiok and other mid-season arrivals.
Settling down in Tunisia should not be a problem for the 25-year old who previously turned out for Tunisian giants Etoile Du Sahel.
That year 2015, Godspower Aniefiok had excelled in the colours of Kano Pillars FC and the Nigeria Olympic Eagles team at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations to earn a famous move to Etoile Du Sahel who he could line up against on January 21.
At his new Tunisian club, Godspower Aniefiok could debut vs Stade Tunisien on January 18, 2023 with a game against his old club Etoile Du Sahel three days after.
Technically gifted and blessed with a towering prescence, Godspower Aniefiok will look to help his new club create more goal-scoring opportunities a perculiar concern for Head Coach Naoufel Chebil in the first stanza.
Nigerian forward David Akpan Ankeye is also on the books of Espoir Sportif de Hamman-Sousse, the 20-year old Hamman-Sousse’s leading scorer this season.
