Everton Midfielder Alex Iwobi sends message of RESPECT to Arsenal after Saturday’s win
Everton Midfielder Alex Iwobi has shared message that he still has ” Big respect ” for old club Arsenal after helping the Toffees to 1-0 win over the Gunners on Saturday.
The Hale End Academy product still has fond memories of his time with English Premier League table-toppers Arsenal.
Iwobi made 149 appearances for Arsenal, helping them win the FA Cup in 2017 before moving to Merseyside in a transfer worth £34million two years later.
After Saturday’s win with Everton, Iwobi took to Instagram to share images of the game with the caption ” Big respect “.
On other Social Media platforms, the Super Eagle posted “Nice To See Some Old Faces, Even Better To Win! .”
A huge win for Everton it was for Iwobi and his teammates who were playing for the first time under Sean Dyche.
Iwobi started on the left side of Midfield and was a torn in the flesh of Arsenal defender Ben White. Tarwoski scored the winner just after the hour mark to stun the league leaders at Goodison park.
