Super Falcons are among the countries participating in the 2023 Revelation Cup which is ongoing in Mexico – and they have made a losing start.
Kiana Palacios’ 85th-minute strike was all that the hosts needed to take a 1-0 win against the Super Falcons who were all over the place.
The defeat was not the major issue as this was a friendly game, the performance of the Super Falcons was a major concern as it hits a new low.
Super Falcons have now lost all six of their last games – the game against Mexico was so so poor that a fan described it as the worst by any Nigerian national team.
The Super Falcons have always lacked coordination, direction, tactics, and the braggadocious the team is known for under the leadership of Randy Waldrum.
“I have never watched a more uninspiring and lacklustre display from any Nigerian National team than this thing I watched tonight!,” said @kenokeyatuegwu
“It was a complete waste of my time! The under-17 girls that won bronze at the world cup will easily beat this Falcons! Such a poor team!!!!”
