Gauff beats Keys to join Williams sister in an exclusive list

Coco Gauff dismissed Madison Keys 6-2, 7-5 in the women’s quarterfinal at the 2023 Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships.
The 18-year-old who played in her 10th quarterfinal across WTA 1000, and Grand Slam games made a light work against her fellow American on Thursday.
On Friday, Coco Gauff will play against Iga Świątek to whom she had lost five games for a place in the final.
But before the semis, Coco Gauff can celebrate her accomplishment of joining her idols in an exclusive list.
She became just the fourth American female player to reach 10 WTA semi-finals before turning 19 over the last 30 years, after Lindsay Davenport, Venus Williams, and Serena Williams.
Coco Gauff will be hoping to finally get one over Iga Swiatek who defeated her in her last WTA 1000 semifinal game in 2021 in Rome.
