Olympic Eagles: 30-players invited to Nigeria camp for Guinea qualifiers
Head Coach of Nigeria’s U-23 Eagles team Salisu Yusuf has invited 30-players to camp for the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations final qualifying fixture against Guinea.
The list dominated by Nigeria Professional Football League players has four (4) goalkeepers, eight (8) defenders, ten (10) midfielders and eight (8) strikers.
Nigeria overcame Tanzania in the 2nd qualifying round to set up the two-legged clash vs Guinea with the 1st-leg to hold this month.
Nigeria will host the first leg at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 before a trip to Guinea for the return leg.
The aggregate winner of the Nigeria Vs Guinea clash will qualify for the 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations tournament.
The Africa U-23 Cup of Nations tournament will serve as qualifying path to the Paris 2024 Olympic games.
In preparation, all the invited Nigerian players are to report at the Chida Hotel, Abuja on Friday, March 3, 2023.
