Akuneto Opens Up On Enyimba Move
Chijioke Akuneto has revealed the reasons behind his move to NPFL giants, Enyimba.
Akuneto teamed up with the Aba-based club on a short-term deal ahead of the second stanza of the league.
He played a vital role in helping Rivers United to their first-ever NPFL title last season, winning the top scorer award with 19 goals.
“Enyimba is the most successful club in Nigeria and I want to play my part in ensuring we continue on that path,” he stated.
“There is enough quality in this team together we can make history this season.”
The NPFL second stanza will resume this weekend, Akuneto will be hoping to make his debut against Bendel Insurance.
