Tuchel’s Bayern: From Nagelsmann’s Treble Chasing to Nothing?
When Bayern Munich sacked their former manager Julian Nagelsmann in March, they were in contention for all available trophies- the Bundesliga, Champions League, and DFB Pokal.
One month after his replacement, Thomas Tuchel took over they crashed out of the Champions League, and DFB Pokal and also risk missing out on the Bundesliga title.
Thomas Tuchel started his Bayern Munich reign, with a 4-2 win over rivals, Dortmund, but lost 2-1 at home to Freiburg and crash out of the DFB-Pokal in the quarterfinal.
They lost 3-0 to Manchester City in the Champions League quarterfinal first-leg game, and eventually crashed out of the tournament after playing a 1-1 draw in the return leg.
And as it stands after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Mainz, they could lose the Bundesliga title to Borussia Dortmund.
In less than 30 days, they could go from the treble-chasing team under Julian Nagelsmann to a trophyless team under Thomas Tuchel.
Bayern Munich only lost three out of the 37 games they played when Julian Nagelsmann was the manager, under Thomas Tuchel they have lost the same amount of games in just 7 games.

There have been a lot happening at Bayern lately both off and on the pitch, the Saido Mane and Leroy Sane bust-up, and the management issues, and this might have taken its toll on the team.
“We have no energy, I don’t know why,” said Tuchel Tuchel on Bayern’s terrible moment.
“It’s so difficult. The team looks like they have already played 70 games this season…”.
“We’re not awake, we’re exhausted”.
After 29 games, Borussia Dortmund sit top with 60 points, Bayern Munich 2nd with 59 points.
