Iwobi in action as Everton hold Wolves to keep survival hopes alive

Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi was in action for Everton when they held Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon.

Colombian defender Yerry Mina scored deep into stoppage time to rescue a vital point for Alex Iwobi`s Everton in their battle against relegation from the Premier League.

Hwang Hee-Chan had given Wolves the lead in the 34th minute and they were coasting to victory before the resilient Toffees struck with the 99th minute equalizer.

Everton are now placed 17th on 33 points, just two points above the drop zone with a game to the end of the 2022/2023 English Premier League season.

Alex Iwobi and Everton will enter the final day of the Premier League season with eyes on Leicester City and Leeds United with two relegation slots to go.
