Spalletti Confident in Osimhen’s Ability to Excel at Any Club

Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti has backed Victor Osimhen to flourish at any club he finds himself this summer.

The Nigerian striker led Napoli to their first Serie A title in more than 30 years scoring 25 league goals in the process.

Victor Osimhen scored his 24th, and 25th league goals against Bologna on Sunday as Napoli were forced to a 2-2 draw in their last away game of the season.

Linked with a move to several top clubs, Spalletti has backed the Nigerian to continue to improve and adopt to any league and club.

“When players start working in a certain way, you identify their characteristics and find paths to give them service,” said Spalletti.

“Victor Osimhen is good in open spaces, in the air, with the ball passed to his feet. He will have an important future, no matter what team he plays in, and is above all a good lad too.

“His teammates love him, he helps them out and resolves situations rather than complains.

“He will become even more of a top player in future.”
