Osimhen named Serie A best in his position

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has been named the best player in his position for the 2022/2023 Italian Serie A season.

The Nigerian striker has scored 25-goals already this season to lead the goal-scorers chart in the Italian top-flight this season.

His goals have helped the Naples based club to the league title, their first since 1990, reason the forward is earning accolades from multiples sources.

To win the best striker of the 2022/2023 Italian Serie A season, Osimhen held off competition from closest challenger Lautaro Martinez.

The Inter Milan striker is also his challenger in the race for the highest goal-scorer gong with a weekend to go in Italy.
