2023 WWC: Nigeria’s group stage opponents Ireland name squad

Nigeria’s group stage opponent at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the Republic of Ireland has named their squad for the tournament.

A 23-player list for Republic of Ireland’s debut at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, Head Coach Vera Pauw will bank on the likes of Arsenal Women’s star Katie McCabe, Manchester United’s Aoife Mannion, Liverpool’s Leanne Kiernan and experienced midfielder Sinead Farrelly who comes out of retirement .

Ireland will mark their debut with a opening game vs co-hosts Australia on July 20 before facing Canada and Nigeria’s Super Falcons in group A.
