Balogun focused on Arsenal Pre-season while agent, family sort future
Nigerian born striker Folarin Balogun has revealed he is focused on pre-season with Arsenal FC while his agent and family sort his future amidst speculation he will leave the Gunners.
After a successful loan spell at French Ligue One club Reims in the 2022/2023 season, Folarin Balogun is back with Arsenal FC for pre-season but his future is far from sorted.
Arsenal have not be forthcoming with decision if their Academy product will feature significantly during the new season but the forward is fulfilling his contractual obligation by being present for pre-season activities.
Balogun is currently part of Mikel Arteta tutored Arsenal FC squad for the United States tour.
Ahead of Arsenal’s pre-season clash against MLS All-Stars, Balogun told reporters in US, his home per International appearance of his feeling at the club he has been fifteen years and focus at the moment.
“I was away for the year, so I’m just back, I’m obviously just focused on pre-season with the team, it’s nice to see everyone.
“I’m really just focused here and of course my agent and my family are dealing with this.”
Folarin Balogun is managed by a Nigerian, Emeka Obasi same as Anglo-Nigerian stars Alex Iwobi, Joe Aribo, Ola Aina and Josh Maja, and Malcolm Ebiowei.
Last season, Balogun scored 22 goals and assisted three others in 39 appearances for Reims to draw interest from top European clubs this summer.
